Gundogs are more than just tools of the hunting trade . . . but we don’t need to tell Sporting Classics Daily readers that. There are a lot of proud dog owners out there, and we’re guessing you’re more than willing to show off your best friends.
Now through March 1, 2017, submit your favorite dog photo for a chance to win our new Gundog Photo Contest. Entries will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. (EST) on March 1, with entries being added to a special photo gallery on our Facebook page. The winner will be selected by the number of “likes” a photo receives, with the public choosing who takes top honors.
The winner will be showcased on Sporting Classics Daily, our various social media platforms, and ultimately in the special 2017 Gundog Issue of Sporting Classics magazine, coming in May.
In addition, the winner will be awarded a special lighted dog collar from Brite-Strike, part of their new hunting line of products! The collar is triple stitched, includes a heavy-duty reflective thread, and has both an “on” and “strobe” setting to help you locate your dog.

To enter, send a high-resolution photo* to editorial@sportingclassics.com with the words “Gundog Photo Contest” in the subject line. Photos must contain a sport dog breed, preferably in the field. With hunting season ramping up, be on the lookout for a fabulous shot while you’re afield—with both gun and camera!
*Only high-res photos with 300 dpi will be accepted. Multiple submissions are allowed.
