Fresh off a big weekend at the Southeastern Wildlife Exposition, Sporting Classics is heading west to Kansas City, Mo., for the National Pheasant Fest & Quail Classic. The event runs Friday through Sunday at the Kansas City Convention Center and is the national convention for both Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever.

The Classic is the largest upland hunting and conservation event in the world, boasting hundreds of exhibitors and attractions. Everything related to upland bird hunting, dog training, wild game cooking, and wildlife conservation is under one roof for one low price of admission.

A $10 Buy One/Get One ticket gets you and a friend in for the day. Choose to attend Friday and you can see the Bird Dog Parade, with more than 30 breeds of bird dog on display, and attend the western-themed Bird Hunters Banquet that evening. Saturday’s attendees can attend Quail Summit 2016, a conservation lunch, and the National Pheasant Fest & Quail Classic Banquet. Sunday features a special church service and a drawing for a raffled Polaris.

Various seminars and sessions are spread across all three days.

The best choice is to spend $30 and attend all three days.  While you’re there, stop by the Sporting Classics booth and meet some of the magazine’s staff members.

This will be Sporting Classics’ first year manning a booth at Pheasant Fest. The magazine is centrally located at Booth 1619 in the middle of the convention center, and is prominently featured next to the Bass Pro Shops tractor-trailer.

Sporting Classics’ Trent Morgan, Brian Raley, and Taylor Pardue will be on hand all three days. Attendees who stop by the booth will be eligible for a special subscription rate to the magazine.
