The Guyette & Deeter Auction Firm will hold a special auction Feb. 13 with the Southeastern Wildlife Exposition. A wealth of carved waterfowl decoys, paintings, and hunting collectibles will be available for bidding, including works by David Maass, the Ward Brothers, Jim Schmiedlin, and many more.
The sale will be held at the Charleston Marriott in Charleston, South Carolina. A preview of all the fine items will be held Feb. 12 from 3-5 p.m., with another preview held the 13th from 10 a.m. till 1 p.m.
The auction itself will begin immediately following the Feb. 13 preview at 1 p.m. and will last until 5 p.m. This is a cataloged, unreserved decoy auction with approximately 275 items up for bid, with guaranteed condition reports and a 15 percent buyer’s premium.
