The 2016 Blade Show is almost here. The annual showcase of production and custom blades will be held in Atlanta’s Cobb Galleria Center June 3-5, and Sporting Classics Daily will be there to cover it.

Like Sporting Classics, the Blade Show is celebrating its 35th anniversary in 2016. The show has maximized its floorspace to offer the most booths and tables yet, with more than 700 booths and 200 tables on-site.

In addition to the customary cutlery, the organizers of the show are bringing back “BLADE University” for its third year. The classes offer knife enthusiasts the information needed to create their own knives, sheaths, handles, and more — everything needed to ensure future generations of custom knife makers are coming into the ranks.

General admission runs $18 for a one-day pass if purchased online; at-the-door price is $20. Doors open Friday at 2 p.m. until 7 p.m., Saturday is 9 a.m. until 6 p.m., and Sunday is 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.

An extra $25 gets you early bird status, with gates opening at noon on Friday.

One day won’t be enough to see all the show has to offer; make it a full weekend for a $40-dollar, three-day ticket ($40 online; $45 at the door).

Children under the age of 12 are admitted for free with a paid adult.

The Cobb Galleria is located at 2 Galleria Pkwy SE, Atlanta, GA 30339. Order your tickets online today, and be sure to read “The Red Knife” to get into the cutlery spirit.
