Just announced at the IWA Outdoor Classics Trade Fair in Nuremberg, Germany, Krieghoff has revealed its ”2018 Gun of the Year.”
This year, the prestigious award goes to “The Davinci,” commissioned by Alamo Sporting Arms and engraved by Creative Art. This timeless treasure honors Leonardo da Vinci on the 500th anniversary of his death.
Inspired by the master and his genius, this fabulous over-and-under shotgun exhibits his creativity in both artwork and inventions.
With every meticulous detail, this Krieghoff K-80 engraved by Creative Art sits at the apex of form and function, an appropriate tribute to Leonardo da Vinci.
Alamo Sporting Arms, based just outside of San Antonio, is known for its custom work with Kreighoff. It has commissioned several other one-of-a-kind pieces, including the 2015 Gun of the Year, the Alamo Krieghoff K-80.
