“The Last Stand”

“Underwater Waltz”
Bronze/black granite, 19 x 19 x 23 inches, edition 30.
I wanted to capture a scene I witnessed of two French angelfish circling in mid water. I designed an abstract base to allow the fish to “float” without being attached to the bottom. The fish are bronze and the support is cast stainless steel. Click Here to View In Gallery

“Split Decision”
Bronze/black granite, 36 x 18 x 28 inches, edition 10.
The Peregrine Falcon is the world’s fastest bird, reaching speeds of 270 miles per hour! Here, the falcon is in hot pursuit of a pair of American Goldfinches. In keeping with the theme of the birds flowing out of the metal, the heads are fully detailed while the bodies and tails are more impressionistic. The movement of the dive and the route of escape are best appreciated as the piece rotates on a turntable. Click Here to View In Gallery

“Into the Blue”
Bronze/black granite, 54 x 22 x 14 inches, edition 15.
The sculpture is a depiction of a Cooper’s hawk in pursuit of a Steller’s jay. Both birds are life size. Click Here to View In Gallery
