Sporting Classics with Chris Dorsey, the world’s most watched outdoor TV series, has year-to-year ratings up 30 percent.

Officials from Dorsey Pictures, the world’s largest producer of outdoor adventure programming with series airing on ten national networks and with affiliates across the globe on scores of linear and digital platforms announced that their flagship outdoor series Sporting Classics with Chris Dorsey reached more than 7 million viewers in its second season on Outdoor Channel. The series reached 5.6 million viewers in 2019 and 7.38 million viewers in 2020 for a year-to-year performance increase of 30 percent, and reached more than 283,000 viewers per week during the 3rd and 4th quarters of 2020.

Internationally, the series is one of Wild TV’s highest rated programs.

After the initial six-month broadcast run on Outdoor Channel, the series re-airs in syndication on Outdoor America’s 113 broadcast stations, plus regional sports networks reaching 30 million homes, and the Circle Network reaching an additional 30 million homes. The total syndicated re-airs reach an additional 10 million viewers. The series also re-airs on several streaming platforms including Waypoint TV, CarbonTV and Outdoor America, broadcast through numerous digital and on-demand platforms including Apple TV, Samsung TV Plus, Vizio Smart Cast, Xumo, STIRR, Distro TV, Glewed TV, Select TV, Zingo TV, PlutoTV, Roku, Prime Video, Tubi and Crackle.
