The Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature—which translates to “Museum of Hunting and Nature”—in Paris, France, is a privately owned museum dedicated to hunting and nature unlike one we’ve ever seen. The museum has been in operation since the early 1960s and is housed in a mansion that dates back to the fifteenth century. In addition to its striking setting, the museum boasts a jaw-dropping collection of weapons, game mounts, wildlife art, and hunting artifacts, some of which can be seen in the images below.
While the Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature is certainly eclectic, it warrants a visit if you ever find yourself in the city of love.
