The world’s most watched outdoor television series returns for its fifth season on Outdoor Channel this week through the end of 2023.

Sporting Classics with Chris Dorsey Season 5Sporting Classics with Chris Dorsey is a joint venture between Dorsey Pictures, the largest producer of outdoor lifestyle programming in history and Sporting Classics magazine, the award-winning 40-year-old premium outdoor magazine that showcases the history, art and romance of the outdoors. In addition to its Outdoor Channel run, the series airs in syndication on Outdoor America, on nearly a dozen streaming platforms and throughout Canada on WildTV.

“This season is a celebration of the greatest destinations the sporting world has to offer,” Dorsey says. “I am honored to share these memories with my friends and guests on-screen, and with all of our fans and followers at home.”

Season 5 Premiers this WeekChris Dorsey has been called the ‘brand-father’ of outdoor television having helped create and launch almost 60 series in the outdoor genre and an equal number of series in mainstream television. The season includes adventures in Tanzania, Bolivia, Hungary and Alaska with special guests including General Charles Duke who walked on the moon (one of 4 living moonwalkers), General Walt Boomer who led all Marines in the Gulf War, and Staff Sgt. Joey Jones who lost his legs to an IED and now serves as a FOX News contributor and motivational speaker.

The series will air every Monday at 12:30 pm, Tuesday 7:30 am, Thursday 2:30 pm, and Sundays at 4:30 and 10:30 am (all times ET) through the end of 2023.
