Editor needed for a national hunting and fishing web site that evolves every weekday, and is read by 32,000 subscribers, and 140,000 visitors per month. College degree in journalism, English, or creative writing required. Good writing skills, three years experience editing, and excellent organizational skills are a must. Candidate should have two years experience with WordPress or similar program.
Applicants must know how to gather and edit stories of interest to affluent sportsmen. Candidate should have a thorough knowledge of hunting and fishing.
Applicants must have the ability to work with advertisers, writers and authors, scheduling stories and advertising, adhering to a budget, and preparing and scheduling daily uploads to the site.
Candidate will work under the supervision of the publisher and editor of our national hunting and fishing magazine. Future advancement possibilities.
Position requires working from our offices in Columbia, South Carolina and a background check.
