The 2017 NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits is coming to Atlanta, Georgia, next week. Some 80,000 attendees are expected to fill the Georgia World Congress Center, along with more than 800 exhibitors. In addition, Donald Trump will speak at the convention’s NRA-ILA Leadership Forum—the first president in 34 years to do so.
The event kicks off Friday at 9 a.m. The exhibit hall is open 9 a.m. till 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. till 5 p.m. on Sunday. Perhaps the biggest draw at this year’s convention will be President Donald Trump’s speech during the NRA-ILA’s Leadership Forum. Trump will be the first president to address the forum in 34 years, President Ronald Reagan being the last to do so. Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinke, Florida Gov. Rick Scott, and Senator Ted Cruz are also scheduled to speak.
