Linda Besse was Safari Club International Foundation’s 2014 Conservation Artist of the Year and has traveled to every continent, researching the flora and fauna for her award-winning oil paintings. One gets the sense of being there when viewing her art, and collections on four continents have her work hanging in their homes and offices.

From canoeing 459 miles above the Arctic Circle to see musk ox to paddling the Zambezi River to get a good view of bee-eaters, Linda puts herself “in the action” to see animals in their natural habitat.
