Each year, Sporting Classics teams with a custom knife maker to create one-of-a-kind works of art. The 2015 calendar year is starting its downward slope, but the annual knives are already almost gone!

The Hunter, Sporting Classics‘ 2015 “Knife of the Year,” is still in stock, but buyers need to hurry while supplies last. Only 75 were created, and only a few of those are left.

The Hunter features a 4.75 inch, upswept blade with just enough belly for skinning and a keen point for close-in caping work. Hand-forged from Ol tool steel, this knife is heat-treated, hand-ground and honed to a razor edge. The guards are brass, and the handles consist of stacked leather and fiber spacers, ending in crow’s beak butt caps fashioned from exquisite sambar stag.

“Behring Made” and the “SC” logo are etched on each blade, and every knife comes in a heavy, handcrafted leather sheath.

Please allow six to eight weeks for delivery from time of order.
