Gunwerks has entered a new phase of design and manufacturing with the addition of an entirely new shop for composite production. The company has developed a new tooling process that uses 3D stock models and advanced machining techniques to make tools in-house, significantly reducing new product development time. With new process and tooling development, the company thought it was also time for a refresh of their popular stock designs.
We got a special look at Gunwerks’ three all-new stock designs at SHOT Show 2018. Each stock features signature design geometry and serves as the platform for a unique precision shooting system.
CLYMR
Built for the ultimate mountain rifle. Pair this ultralight carbon-fiber rifle stock with a titanium action and carbon Proof Research barrel for extreme weight reduction. With advanced carbon-fiber layup technology, integrated flush-mount bipod rail, and full length-of-pull adjustability, this is the most long-range-capable ultralight stock available.
MAGNUS
The ultimate do-all rifle stock. Light enough to carry anywhere and capable of ethical, one-shot kills at extended range. With its ultralight carbon-fiber construction and configurable CNC inletting, this stock is equally at home on a mountain tactical or ELR rig. The Gen II Magnus features the company’s new adjustable recoil pad hardware and its game-changing flush-mount bipod rail.
VERDICT
Heavy-hitting and capable at extreme ranges. Whether built to tame the largest magnums or stay on target through strings of fire in competition, the Verdict is the final answer.
This fully configurable and adjustable rifle stock system is based on our proprietary Carbon Fiber composite layup with optional M-LOK® accessory rails. The inlet can be precisely machined to match any barrel and action combination. This means it can be configured as a lightweight ELR hunting rig, or a tricked out competition chassis replacement.
