Texas’s Greystone Castle Sporting Club is kicking off its 2017 shooting season with a special event. The club is hosting its inaugural Greystone Castle Open House May 27, with plenty of shooting for participants.

The shoot is a National Sporting Clays Association tournament, with three events taking place throughout the day. They are:

  • a 100-target preliminary round, $79
  • a 100-target main event, $79
  • a 50-target, five-stand event on two different five-stands, $42.40

Prizes are awarded in every class, with lunch included with registration. A limited number of rooms are available for guests at the castle, running $149 a night plus tax and gratuity.

This is the start of Greystone’s shooting season, with six more tournaments being held throughout the year. As a special bonus, those who shoot 200 targets or more in five of the seven tournaments are entered into a drawing for Greystone hunting and fishing trips, overnight stays, shooting lessons, and more.
