Copley is pleased to announce a landmark collaboration with the Waterfowl Festival and the Academy Art Museum. On November 13-16, Copley Fine Art Auctions, the nation’s premier decoy and Sporting Art auction house, will present “Copley at the Academy” during the Waterfowl Festival in Easton, Maryland. Over 20,000 attendees from around the country are expected to flock to the 54th-annual Waterfowl Festival. This 3-day event draws outdoor enthusiasts, artists, and collectors alike to celebrate the culture of the Eastern Shore through Sporting Art, decoys, live entertainment, and events.

“Copley at the Academy” will feature the Copley Winter Sale 2026 Preview, along with a Special Exhibition entitled Classic Shorebird Decoys featuring Milton C. Weiler’s Original Watercolors from the Peterson Collection. This exhibition will be on display at the Academy Art Museum, and its accompanying 90-page, full-color catalog will be available with a donation.

Copley owner Stephen B. O’Brien Jr. reports, “After over a quarter century exhibiting at the Waterfowl Festival, we couldn’t be more pleased to grow our partnership with the Festival and the Academy Art Museum this year. The breadth and quality of the decoys and Sporting Art on display at ‘Copley at the Academy’ is taking the Festival to new heights.”
