This week, Cameron the Weimaraner gives a special shout-out to his local UPS delivery woman, Anne, and the wonderful packages (and treats) she brings, especially around his birthday.
I will be the first to admit it’s exciting to get mail and packages. When mail comes to my home with my name on it, I have Mike open the envelope immediately and read it to me. Gives him something to do and he can brush up on reading aloud, LOL.
I also receive a lot of hunting and fishing gear. When packages arrive, I rush to the door to meet Anne, the local regular UPS driver. In addition to the packages and goods delivered, she has treats. I’m heading to the front door now just thinking about those treats.
Happy birthday, Cameron!
The other day I got a package from my friends at Sporting Classics. The orange neckerchief will be great this fall when I’m in the brush searching for birds. Mike will be able to keep track of my movements—and hopefully be better prepared for the shot needed to bring down any birds I flush out. Shooting a bird only requires three simple actions: see the bird, point the shotgun—shoot the bird. I know Mike needs more coaching on his shooting skills.
But he’s a master at carrying my mail and packages—and helping me open them. If I rip into the boxes and packages, he often gets mad because packaging is everywhere on the floor. Sometimes contents and gifts in the box also get a little chewed up. Well, I did mention I get excited to receive mail and packages. Just hope the next one has some treats inside!
I may need to steal Mike’s wallet, get out a credit card and place an order. More treats would be nice. It would come in a package with my name on it. That’s always welcome!
