Hoomans enjoy the cushy life, but so does Cameron the Weimaraner, who loves to cozy up in his favorite pup pajamas.

As I am lying on the couch and guarding the house, I see commercials on TV for all kinds of hooman beds, pillow, sheets and pajamas. Hey, stop there, I do not watch the shopping channel. I have, however, learned hoomans like the cushy life.

It is pajamas, however, that grab my full attention, because like most hoomans, I love wearing pajamas and being cushy. They are great to wear on a cold winter night, but they are really great on camping trips. For some odd reason Mike likes camping near cold water, like on the shores of a high mountain lake, and add the elevation, then camping nights become downright chilly. I have to mention here, I hate cold and being uncomfortable—period.

That’s where pajamas come in—they keep me warm. For some odd reason Mike bought me orange pajamas, and he laughingly refers to me as The Great Pumpkin when I wear them. Stop with the bullying!

One thing when we are camping in a tent and I have pajamas on, I can still become cold, and I need help. The request is easy to make. I get up and walk all over Mike. He will wake up—period. At this time he has to find my blanket, check my pajamas and show me my cushy five-inch-thick memory gel dog bed.  Once I lay down and Mike covers me with my blanket, it and my pajamas help me warm up and I can go back to sleep.

Actually, at this point the only obstacle to a good night’s sleep is Mike’s grousing and grumbling. Seems he just never gets over me walking all over him in the middle of the night to let him know I need help—I’m cold. Maybe he just needs to pull his pajamas over his head—and go back to sleep.
