About the Author:
Stuart Williams completed Argentina Wingshooting just months before his death in 2022. It is the last of three books he wrote on bird hunting in foreign countries. Over his 40-year career, Williams made more than 250 hunting expeditions in Mongolia, Denmark, Romania, Russia, India, Turkey, the U.S. and some 25 other countries. He made more than 50 wingshooting trips to Argentina and 40 to Mexico.

Williams held Advanced Master ranking in the Photographic Society of America, and competed and served as a judge in major international photographic exhibitions. He held degrees from Yale University and the University of California and served as a consultant to several airlines on the promotion of international hunting tourism.

Stuart wrote innumerable articles and more than a half-dozen books on hunting around the world. During his long career as a freelance writer, he also served as a shooting editor for Field & Stream magazine for which he researched and wrote about the latest developments in guns and shooting throughout the U.S. and the world.
