Upland Wingshooting
Wingshooting has been a staple to the Primland experience since its conception. The vast area of the property allows for an array of options including quail, pheasant and chukar hunting experiences. Two hour and half-day guided activities are offered on property.
Upland Guided Hunts
Didier Primat saw the outdoor experiences at Primland as an opportunity to create memories with his family and show them the purity of the sport. At Primland, Upland Guided Hunts are offered on the property for you and your child to venture across the vast Blue Ridge Mountains and continue to create those family memories through Primland. The parent-child hunts are a two-hour experience in pursuit of pheasant, chukar or bobwhite quail.
Driven Pheasant Shoots
True to its European influence, Primland offers Driven Pheasant Shooting comparable to the best in the UK. Driven Shoots feature six to nine gun lines with three morning and afternoon drives. Each drive is unique in nature and challenge, giving guests the opportunity to truly experience the versatility of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Meeting the level of every gunner, Primland features 12 different drives arranged across the ravines of the vast woodland, each drive lasting about 30 minutes to one hour with Ringneck pheasants constantly flushed towards the gunning line. Shooting pegs are located in deep valleys. Loaders and dog handlers, dressed in proper attire, await to assist you, whether you are shooting one gun or pairs. The Release Shoots and Drive Pheasant Shooting are offered at Primland September 1 through December in single day or multiple day packages.
