Watch: Shooting One of the World’s Rarest Firearms

Testing the Hoenig Rotary Round Action.

In this clip, gun-designer George Hoenig shows off his custom-built Rotary Round Action Gun, an elegant double-barrel model that can operate as either a rifle or a shotgun. Hoenig builds only five of these guns a year, and given their unique design and engineering, they’re unlike any firearm we’ve ever seen.

Our “Rifles” columnist Ron Spomer produced this clip and wrote about the Hoenig Rotary Round Action Gun in July/August 2014 issue of the magazine. Hoenig’s guns sell for anywhere between $25,000 and $55,000 or more, so if you want to shoot one yourself, we hope you have deep pockets.

Read Spomer’s article about Hoenig here and watch the gun in action below.
