If you liked yesterday’s inside look at a Winchester ’73, you’ll especially enjoy today’s inspection of a Browning A5. Watch as the gun fires, loads, and shucks shells, and even see how the button safety engages and disengages. We guarantee you’ll watch it more than once.
Like the ’73, the A5 is back in production after a highly successful earlier run. The video below shows the old A5’s workings, but Browning now offers it in more than ten new variations, with models ranging from the traditional wood-stocked style to new Cerakoted/camouflaged waterfowling ones. Most of them come in 12 gauge, but the company has also resurrected the aptly named Sweet Sixteen.
